WELCOME TO RONKE'S CORNER
I had to find my way in the dark. Because I lost my mother when I was only seventeen, I grew into womanhood and motherhood without her guide. I didn’t have a manual, so I raised my three children based on muscle memory—what I remembered of how she raised us—combined with my natural instincts as a woman and a mother.
Along the way, I had to build my own village. I watched, listened, and emulated the beautiful things I saw in the inspiring women around me. I do not share these stories because my children are somehow more extraordinary than others; there are countless kids out there doing far greater things. I share them because of the hard-won wisdom forged in the journey itself.
WHAT IS RONKE'S CORNER?
Wisdom Shared. Generation to Generation.
Think of this space as a modern-day “Dear Abby” for parents—and the digital extension of the Q&A section found at the end of every chapter in my book.
I created Ronke’s Corner to build a trusted village where we can share honest, battle-tested wisdom from one generation to the other. I want to ensure that as you navigate the parenting jungle, you never have to feel completely isolated or alone in the dark like I did.
This is a place for raw, uncurated, and honest conversations. Not social media performance. Not judgment. Here, we can share our stories, ask our hardest questions, and confess our messy mistakes—because sometimes, the most powerful guidance comes from simply hearing: “Me too.”
